A recent sponsor package for one deal is enough. Dave will use it to show the number check and the investor's copy it produces.

Do I need to move my whole book at once?

No. Most practices start with one or two deals and their investors, then import the rest of the holdings workbook later.

Can my compliance reviewer join?

Yes, and it helps. The review and approval steps are easier to judge when the person who signs off sees them first.
